Free-reading position, bookmark, selected theme and Web Khatmah progress are stored in this browser. They are not synchronized to an Al Mustafa account.
Backup files
Export creates a JSON file locally on your device. Import reads that file in your browser. Al Mustafa does not upload the backup to a server.
Prayer times on the website
The website requests browser geolocation only after you press “Use my location”. Coordinates and the latest prayer-time result can be stored locally for convenience. To calculate times, the browser sends coordinates to the AlAdhan Prayer Times API. Al Mustafa does not operate a server that receives or stores this location.
Quran pages and offline cache
Mushaf page images are files produced for the Al Mustafa project and served from its static Quran-page host. A limited set of recently read pages may be cached by the website service worker so those recent pages can reopen when the network is unavailable.
Android app
The Android app does not require an account, display ads, use analytics/tracking or provide cloud backup. With permission it uses device location for prayer times and stores relevant settings locally.
Delete data
Use the website controls to forget prayer location, or clear site data in browser settings. You can export a backup first if you want to preserve reading and Khatmah progress.
